Luna Skye - Newborn Session

On Luna's fourteenth day, we took these photos of her and her mom and dad. It was a very simple session, we had a room with a nice window with the beautiful light of the day coming in.

I wanted to take the photos like a scene that would happen in real life. I wanted to show loving moments between Luna and her mom, her fragility while being held by her dad, cradling her to sleep, swaddling her and clothing her and the joy and love she brings out of the people around her.  Notice that when she yawns it just melts your heart!

Newborn sessions require a lot of patience because the babies are defnitely the boss. Crying, pooping, peeing on the spot are expected. Those also bring out great moments in the family. I'm happy to share these pictures with you, with hopes that they remind you how precious life is, how beautifully fragile babies are, and that you too were once this tiny (and wrinkly!).

Special thanks to Luna's parents, Erica and Miggy.

Eisiah Turns One

For baby Eisiah's first birthday, he was dressed up as a little aviator, a little adventurer ready to go places in a hot air balloon! Ice definitely looked so adorable in his outfits especially with those aviator hat. His mom and dad also prepared a pretty cake matching this theme for a cake smash session. We encountered a little bit of a problem in that we didn't get to do the cake smash because Ice was no longer in the mood for that day. But no worries, they still got to "smash" the cake later that day when he's already up for it.

Sharing here some of his best photos with styling highlights.

Baby AB - Tiny hands and toes

I first met baby AB when she was still fourteen days old. Her mom and dad are very discreet people which is why I can't share photos that reveal their names or identity.

Back during our first session, she was this teeny tiny ball of sunshine. She weighed a bit more than the usual babies and she grows too fast we realized while we were taking her monthly milestone photos, she grew so much. We style a little backdrop where she would sit in a chair.  In the earlier months, she would sit on the chair and everyone would try and make her smile or get her to make faces. There were a lot of breaks when she would cry or her dad would catch her as she would slowly slip from her seated position. Babies are so simple and tiny humans but it truly takes a village to photograph them properly.

It's always a joy to look at her. Babies are always cute but AB is exceptionally adorable. Just looking at her will make you forget your problems!  But well since I can't show you any photo of her pretty little smile and chubby cheeks, here are some tiny hands and feet that are equally "kaka-gigil!"
